HI GUYS! Whoa so fun to tune back in on this particularly happy wednesday! I have a great excuse for the major silence on my lovely blog, there's exciting news to share.

Lots of late nights working, lots of coffee, lots of laughter and fun, bubbles to celebrate every success or step we took; we are about to launch the Life and Lemons shop!!

My lovely friend Esther and I have been working on this project for quite some time now, and we couldn't be more excited and nervous at the same time. It is our dream come true! Stay tuned to find out more soon!!!

Happy September to you!

Last week we drove all the way up to beautiful Sweden and, to be more precise, lovely Öland to attend a wedding.

When abroad I love to visit the local Supermarket to stroll around and look for new products or fun packaging.

So this post isn't really about Swedish design in furniture or clothing, but about goodies from the Supermarket. YAY! :)

The smoothies are my favorite. They had a whole line with all kinds of fun quotes such as: Ditch the love handles. Say goodbye to your personal trainer. Etc. So very fun!

Lactose-free milk and cream:

Lemonade and lemonade with raspberry. YUM!

Organic oats. Pretty good stuff.

Do you love grocery and goodie shopping abroad as well? :)

Hiya! How are you? It's been a few weeks I dropped a post on here. I've been enjoying summer to its fullest whenever I could - during the evenings and weekends. Besides that I'm working on something really exciting that I don't want to spill just yet. Stay tuned :-)

I also wanted to share something really cool going on this week in Amsterdam: the PIN gallery! A lovely concept by Studio Sjoesjoe. It is a gallery that asked 8 popular pinners in the Netherlands to show 5 images each.

The 8 pinners, the images, the pin-with-love-idea, all so wonderful and the location is AMAZING! Such a great inspiration just looking around the gallery and soaking it all up.

Joelle from Sjoesjoe told me, that even if the gallery wasn't a success, the visitors would have seen the amazing space she discovered. So cool.

I know I'm a bit late with sharing, but the gallery is open this whole weekend. So if you're around the Jordaan area tomorrow, go!!

Whoa, time is flying by. These days I keep myself very busy with celebrating summer and work. While most of the people around me are getting ready for their summer holidays, I am not. I've had my portion of holidays in the past months and will be spending the summer in and around Amsterdam.

Last Sunday I joined Likestationery at the Kleine Fabriek for a pop-up store. It was so much fun being there and selling stationery and other pretty goodies.

This weekend we'll also pop-up at the Mode Fabriek. VERY much excited about that as well.

Both Kleine(kids)- and Mode(fashion)Fabriek are professional trade platforms where brands and labels show their latest collections to the retail industry, stylists etc.

Below a peek of the Likestationery pop-up store!

Hey you, a couple of days ago I returned from a wonderful escape to warm, sunny and beautiful Italy. We've had the best time. We did some relaxing and sightseeing in Rome, we soaked up the sun on the beach and enjoyed the countryside of Tuscany.

One part about traveling that I love, is trying to find the cutest or most awesome hotspots in a city. Either by searching the web, a travel guide or just simply by looking around while you’re in the city itself.

Before we left for our holiday to Italy, I discovered these awesomely designed Insider guides/maps by Herb Lester. I was hoping they would arrive in time for our trip, but unfortunately they didn't. Oh well, I promised at the Trevi Fountain that I would return to Rome anyways.

I couldn't help myself and stocked up on those coolest guides. A brief introduction to Tokyo... A variety of maps on New York City... And one about Rome and Amsterdam.

They might come in handy for your trip this summer?

Great graphics, don't you think? Happy travels!

Hey you guys, this is me blogging from my balcony! Summer or spring, whatever you want to call it, it is finally HERE. Straight blue skies and I couldn't be happier when I was biking home through the city. I spent my morning playing around at the lovely  Likestationery shop - my fav in town.

For some summer vibes, enjoy this song with me on YouTube. Haha my neighbors are listening to the same one.

Amsterdam turns even prettier (check out my snaps on Instagram) and there are smiling people out on the streets. It's June and this is probably my favorite month of the year.

Festival season really starts to take over, there's picnics in the park, holidays are just ahead and peony flowers are (finally) on sale. Due to the long cold weather, peonies are still quite expensive, but gorgeous nonetheless. I hope you enjoy the photos and that it's sunny wherever you are.

Have a great day!

See you soon! XO

Today, on my way running errands, I bumped into a magnificent store called Bilder & De Clerq. I've heard people talking about their smart concept. The store is so clean and pretty and the concept is awesome as well. I'll tell you all about it:

The idea is that you pick one of the recipes available in the store and then very easily load all of the necessary ingredients into your basket. The ingredients are already the exact amount! So in short, you no longer need to buy a whole bush of fresh basil or parsley, you'll get exactly what you need.

Besides the lovely recipes they offer, they also sell beautiful kitchen utensils and all kinds of other goodies for in your kitchen or to eat/drink.

Besides all of this - there is more! - You can also just have a nice cup of tea or coffee and some sweets or buy some bread for at home.

I took some snaps with my iPhone while shopping around. As I am writing this, I am drinking some beautiful soft, not too sweet, Lemonade and munching on some lovely Oat Crumble cookies.

I'll be back soon, Bilder & de Clerq.

Readers in Amsterdam, stay connected through Facebook for updates.

I like pretty things but I also like pretty things with a raw edge to it. This is why I brought home a piece of wood as a souvenir from the beautiful island of Santorini. I have a funny photography obsession with old pieces of wood. You can see more about this on my photography portfolio here and here

I coincidentally saw that the piece matches napkins I recently bought. The brand is the Danish, pretty and very affordable (yay!)Bloomingville.

Napkins purchased at ANNA + NINA but they also available online, for example here

One of my greatest obsessions on the web and in interior design are the designers from the Scandic countries. Boy, are they fresh, fun, on trend and simply great. I could spend hours browsing my favorite Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish and Danish bloggers and designers. I will highlight my favorite ones, or new discoveries here on my blog.

Today is all about the art prints by RK Design. Rikka from Helsinki, designs art prints like the ones below. I love the sense of humor, the different fonts and the variety in the pack of postcards. With this I have my own collection and can change the frames whenever I feel like a new art print!

You can buy them for half price (!) here and new designs can be found through her shop at Society6. I just found out that there's free shipping thru May 12th! Yiha!

Rikka is also owner of the blog Weekday Carnival. Here you can learn all about her great style. Look at those first few photos, especially the second one. Goodness, SO pretty! I could go on and on drooling about her work.

Have you heard of any other great Scandic designers I should know about?

Hey guys, I am back and it is MAY already. How did that happen? As I told you in my previous post, I am now a year older and had a great birthday party. I also just returned from our LOVELY vacation on the beautiful island of Santorini.

If you are thinking about a vacation to a Greek Island, I highly suggest visiting Santorini. I have never seen an island SO pretty, pittoresque and it has the friendliest (english speaking!) people.

After a full week of straight blue skies, bright sun and Greek salads, I am all fueled up again. Picture or it didn't happen, right? Sure, I'll show you pictures! :)

I had a blast. When can I go again?
